Responsibilities:
- Oversee the project from start to finish.
- Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
- Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities.
- Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking if team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project.
- Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule.
- Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
- Co-ordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and laborers.
- Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
- Periodic inspection of construction sites.
- Ensure project documents are complete.
- Serve as a key link with the clients and review the deliverable prepared by the team before passing onto client.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have a degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience working on construction projects in minimum and maximum security prisons/correctional facilities required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a role of Project Manager responsible for large-scale projects valued above $10 million, with an extensive knowledge of all facets of construction and construction documents.
- Ability to manage various projects using established controls and procedures.
- Provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, and quality.
- Experienced coordinating with designers handling any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client/facility.
- Full knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor’s payment application.<.li>

A construction superintendent is responsible for supervising various activities at the construction site; overseeing the performance of construction crew or laborers; mentoring and training the staff; advising the management on deployment of workforces at different sites and use of different raw materials; and taking care of administrative issues like leaves, and wages.
- Insure job safety requirements are understood and implemented by all project personnel and trade contractors, working with the safety support personnel as a resource.

Qualifications:
- Shall will have a baccalaureate degree in Engineering/Architecture and/or Construction related field from an accredited College or University and eight (8) years of full time experience as a technical specialist in one or more construction and design related fields; or a satisfactory combination of education and experience, four (4) years must have been involved in managing all phases of construction work on a scale and scope similar to the work envisioned under this contract;
- Shall have the ability to understand and interpret contract documents such as specifications, drawings, shop drawings;
- Shall have had experience in new, and renovation type construction.

JOB SUMMARY
An extensive understanding of the development and maintenance of detailed project schedules inclusive of design, procurement, construction, close-out, equipment installation, and commissioning activities. The Senior Scheduler must understand and apply engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships. They will develop and maintain critical path logic networks and bar charts utilizing this information. Individual will prepare and review baseline schedules, perform schedule reviews with entire project teams and obtain buy-in; they must be able to customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Scheduler will monitor and document construction progress, identify, track and assist in resolution of construction issues/conflicts. They will monitor, review and report to the Project Manager and or clients, the schedule status of the project with regard to compliance to the construction contract specifications and other documents. The Senior Scheduler will create Cost and Resource Loaded scheduling, gather data, validate and incorporate it into the project schedule, analyze schedule impacts and recommend corrective action to be taken in order to mitigate/avoid cost and schedule overruns. They will also prepare clear and concise scheduling/update analysis reports, including project indicators on a regular basis. The Senior Scheduler will support corporate initiatives, accumulating historical performance data, for use in a realistic planning and forecasting of future projects.
The Senior Scheduler will effectively interface and participate in conferences with project teams (Owner, General, AE, Subcontractors and Suppliers).The Senior Scheduler will be ready and able to enter new and unfamiliar environments and quickly assess and address the needs and requirements of the team. Must have the ability to confidently and tactfully work in a mixed team environment.
Addendum:
- Collect, input, validate and analyze progress in the master schedule, using P6.
- Assess that project objectives, both short and long term, are being met.
- Incorporate detail fragments and other sequencing modifications as required.

This is a full-time position based in our White Plains headquarters office.
In this position you will work collectively with the Marketing Team and the Principal of the company assisting in:
- Writing, editing and designing compelling proposals for Government and Public RFPs in a fast paced, deadline driven environment; materials include writing and updating boiler plates, editing resumes, developing methodologies, project sheets and rate sheets, coordinating deliverables and materials from other departments and consultants etc; generating charts, images, and other graphics (proposals are mainly created in Adobe InDesign)
- Proofreading proposals for consistency, grammar and accuracy
- Printing, binding and delivering (sometimes by hand) proposals
- Identifying and analyzing Government posted RFPs
- Designing client-facing brand materials (digital and print) including flyers, presentations, brochures, banners, letters, e-blasts, qualifications packets using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat
- Developing, updating and coordinating brand marketing materials including pens, bags, shirts, business cards, banners, etc
- Creating PowerPoint presentations; coordinating and moderating practices with the presenting team for proper delivery
- Researching new opportunities and vendors
- Researching and composing articles for website
- Managing and updating content for website; providing direction to the website developer (no website development skills necessary)
- Assisting in advancing the company’s social media presence
- Assisting in event planning for company-events including vendor and material research and selection, event set up and breakdown etc.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Providing Phone Support.
- Assisting in company recruitment (setting up interviews, screening processes, etc.).
- Providing additional Administrative Support in the office including filing, scheduling meetings and general back-up support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- English degree preferred – This is a writing-intensive position, person must have an excellent understanding of the English language and be able to write, proofread and edit proposals that range in size from 10-150 pages. Marketing, Communications and Business degrees will also be considered.
- Deadline driven – Person must be able to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines (both near and long-term).
- Attention to Detail – Person must be detail-oriented, organized and be able to follow directions well.
- Self-starter environment – Candidate should be able to thrive in an environment with limited direction.
- Excellent Research and Communication skills required – 2+ years’ experience in at least one of the following is required: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat Required (all three is a plus) – Proposals are mainly designed in InDesign and Acrobat.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word required.
- Understanding of social media channel advertising and promoting preferred but not necessary
- 0-1 years’ experience in creating graphics (flow charts, organizational charts etc.)
- Must be a fast learner
- Previous Experience in proposal writing desired but not necessary
