DACK Consulting Has Been Featured In The Business Council’s Newsletter

DACK Consulting has been featured in The Business Council’s November 2016 newsletter. The Business Council serves as an advocate for more than 2,400 New York State businesses in the political policy arena. These businesses employ more than 1.2 million jobs in New York alone. The Business Council’s primary goal is to help local businesses, for both employers and employees alike, have a healthier business climate and more stable economic growth. In mid-October, DACK Consulting’s founder, Aleksandra Chancy, sat down with The Business Council’s Director of Communications, Zack Hutchins, to discuss the various benefits and hardships of owning a small business in New York State and what exactly DACK Consulting has to offer its community.

Excerpt: “WHAT IS IT LIKE BEING A BUSINESS OWNER IN NEW YORK STATE?

It’s been a wonderful experience. The state has a number of programs that help small businesses. There are challenges, of course. Being a business owner is a challenge in itself; finding good employees, good clients are part of the challenge. But the state in itself has always been more of a benefit than a hindrance. The Governor’s economic development programs have been particularly beneficial to our firm and clients.”

“AS A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER, WITH LIMITED RESOURCES, HOW DO YOU KEEP UP WITH REGULATORY CHANGES AND MAKE SURE YOU REMAIN IN COMPLIANCE?

That is where we find our membership in The Business Council to be most beneficial; particularly your newsletter and email updates. You help us keep up on the changes that will affect our business and allow us to adjust to current market conditions. We have to wear many hats, and keep on top of it all. It is a challenge, but it also makes things exciting. And we have organizations like The Business Council to fill in the gaps and keep us informed.”
