New construction of NYPD’s 2-story bomb squad unit headquarters previously damaged by Superstorm Sandy. Design is to prevent future flooding and comply with criteria for FEMA’s building regulations for flood zones. Facility will include a 6-car specialized vehicle garage, water services room, mechanical room, training room, repair shop, offices, staff room, bathrooms and lockers.
